Halloween fun for AnchorAgency: Carlson Marketing Client: Anchor Real Dairy Cream
As part of its Halloween promotion Anchor transformed its Real Dairy Cream into Real Dairy iScream, using a range of competitions and giveaways to encourage families to buy the product as part of their spooky celebrations.
The audience was both boys and girls aged around seven as well as their parents. The challenging brief for this project was to write six original scary stories to appeal to as part of Anchor’s Halloween Real Dairy iScream! promotion. Each story was limited to 200 words in length.
Again this is the kind of challenge that I really relish, which requires a good creative imagination. 200 words is a very small amount of copy within which to achieve a story with a clear beginning, middle and end that strikes just the right tone of spooky silliness with a good resolution. It was important that the story wasn’t too dry for a child and yet also wasn’t too scary (despite it being Halloween!).
The client was delighted with the results. Anchor made the stories available on the Halloween pages of their site as a free PDF download.
